My name is Natalie Massie and I am a wife, mama, and business coach. My passion in life is helping women launch and grow their online business so they can make money while they stay at home with their kids (or dogs)!

In a world where “busy” is a badge of honor and 60+ hours a week is the new norm for entrepreneurs, I knew that wasn’t the life I wanted. From the beginning of my business I have been very intentional about setting up a good work-life balance that puts my family before my business. These are the same guidelines I teach my students. Believe it or not, it’s possible to have a strong marriage, raise happy kids, travel the world, get 8+ hours of sleep a night, and have a thriving successful business.

My favorite city is Charleston, SC – so much history and charm
I married my high school sweetheart (we’ve been together 12 years!)
We have 2 “volumptuous” bulldogs – Rosie and Ruby
A perfect Saturday would be spent antiquing (we actually made a special trip to Arezzo, Italy to visit the antique market the whole town puts on)
I started getting gray hairs when I was 18 (I suppose you could say I’m wise beyond my years)
I took 6.5 years of French and can barely form a sentence!

Years ago, I started diving into the world of self development and online business information. I listened to every podcast, subscribed to every email list, downloaded every freebie, read all the business books and yet I still hadn’t made progress. Why? Because I hadn’t actually invested in my own dream. Sure I spent countless hours on free resources but I hadn’t made a financial investment – that would be a true commitment on my end.

..and yet I kept feeling a pull towards starting my own business.

In my mind I didn’t even think that would be a possibility. My husband, Jesse, was still in school so I was the only one working. For awhile I was working two jobs – a full-time job during the day and a retail job on nights and weekends. I was so exhausted and burnt out and yet I kept feeling a pull towards starting my own business.

After countless months of no results, I finally realized I needed to take this seriously and invest in myself and my future business. The first business program I invested in was thousands of dollars and was a huge stretch for us financially. I remember coming to Jesse with the proposition and luckily he was so supportive. He reminded me that we are okay spending thousands of dollars on a degree from a university because we know it's an investment in our future, so why would I treat this business course any differently? (Plus we all know you don't use majority of the info you learn in school - I'm still waiting for an opportunity to use all that Chemistry and Calculus in the real world..)

So I took the plunge and invested in myself, and you know what?

After I hit “submit payment” on the checkout page I felt a huge relief. Yes I was still terrified of the amount of money I just spent, but it was a physical declaration that I believed I would create a successful business that would make back that investment in no time.

I truly believe you have to invest in yourself if you want to start seeing results. It’s important you start your business with intention and think of it as an actual business, not a hobby. If you want others to invest in you, you must invest in yourself first. I have invested thousands of dollars into coaching and business courses to get me to this point and it was worth every penny. My only regret is not starting sooner - and that’s not what I want for you!

I am so grateful for the opportunities this business has allowed me – I get to stay home with my daughter, travel often, and my work “uniform” is stretchy pants and a messy bun!
